Better bodies

The challenge

We look after the health of client employees in every industry, every sector, and musculoskeletal injuries represent one of the biggest areas of concern for organisations. Across three client sites in the energy, construction and transport sectors, workers were sustaining injuries mainly in the lower back, neck and knee.

The solution

We developed an integrated MSK campaign to run across the three client sites, including telephone consultation, onsite specialist physiotherapists and a job mapping exercise.

Onsite sessions were delivered on MSK preventative measures and demonstrations showing the workers how to improve their posture and positions when doing the work. This resulted in far fewer injuries and subsequently a big reduction in sickness absences.
